Contribute to the "Wall of Fame"
We understand ourselves as the guides within our customers’ digital journeys. We don’t define beginning and end, but provide the best route into the unknown. Employing methods such as design-thinking, lean startup, and crowdsourcing, we help our customers to stay on track in the digital age. We do, we try, we learn, we improve – together with our customers.
The challenge: contribute to the wall of fame! Successful products and services make it to our wall of fame. To make sure they get up there, we developed a unique five stage process:
Search
- We pull. Supporting Haniel’s business units in finding their customized approach to digital transformation is key. Therefore, we help them to constantly challenge and improve their digital agendas. Together, we identify opportunities for exiting projects.
- We push. We deliver impulses to top management and the digital community by scouting technologies and startups. Therefore, we leverage Haniel´s VC-investments and source from central information-platforms to build quarterly trend-reports.
Exploration
- It’s what startups do – trying to find the one great idea in a hundred. It’s what we do – systematically. Thorough customer exploration, comprising interviews, customer journey building, pain and gain identification, and ideation is what we believe in. Supported by tech-trend scouting we try to eliminate the other 99 ideas along the way.
Validation
- You think you found the one idea? We think we should test it. Wherever an idea comes from – technology scouting or customer-exploration – it always boils down to one thing: customer value and the willingness to pay for a solution.
- We validate our ideas using scribbles, mock-ups, prototypes, and, eventually, MVPs.
Incubation
- Once validated, products and services need to be developed and delivered to the customer fast, while constantly being adapted according to customer feedback.
- We guide our customers through a series of lean-startup iterations, conceptualize initial products and services, and establish lasting customer relationships.
Acceleration
- We believe there is nothing more dangerous to new products and services than overwhelming success. Sounds strange? How can you evaluate if a new company functions (internally), when sales go through the roof?
- Thus, we believe in strengthening a product owner to build and optimize a value chain that is capable to efficiently and lastingly growing new products and services.
